PIQUERSA has just developed a new implement to solve the problems of collecting bulky items.
This new implement is available for all models of sweepers, which aims to facilitate the cleanup in areas where wastes generated are large and until now it required an extra time and personnel.
The sweeping of large areas such as street markets, central markets, and so on, involved a crew to remove large objects such as boxes, garbage bags, cans, etc., and then cleaning machines could remove smaller debris. This new attachment involves a reduction of time and manpower.
With the new PIQUERSA implement, drag and pile all these wastes is much faster, facilitating their removal and then allowing the sweepers work perfectly. The savings in staff time is evident. In addition, the use of this implement in open hopper sweepers allows you to load the garbage piled into the same hopper and transported to their destination.
PIQUERSA continues developing its multi-purpose machines and maximizing the efficiency of their products.

The internationalization process of PIQUERSA continues in the Middle East. After successes in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and UAE, it's time for Iraq.
This week, the company sent the first container with his famous mechanical sweepers. BA-2500H-AC sweeper model to provide their services in the region of Kurdistan.
Due to hard working conditions, together with the high level of waste and sand, will be a difficult test for these machines. But it is not the first time that the famous PIQUERSA sweepers face the most difficult tests of the market. In 2010, the city of Mecca, with more than 13 million pilgrims a year, acquired 20 units for cleaning the downtown area and this year, have already served multiple units for cleaning Casablanca by the two major companies in Morocco.
The dispatch of these units is a step in the internationalization of the company, now reaching an export quota of over 50%. Quality products and a very committed team are allowing PIQUERSA overcome the crisis that has affected the national and international markets.
But "The Green Force" of PIQUERSA is not limited to this geographical area. PIQUERSA is currently present in over 20 countries, with particular strength in Chile, Morocco and Portugal, where they hope to double last year sales. The objective for 2012 is to consolidate some markets, get into sub-Saharan countries and increase exports to 60% of turnover.

Within 24 hours of the earthquake in Lorca, PIQUERSA had deposited two sweepers on the Municipal Cleaning Co. premises to collaborate in a first phase of cleaning of waste caused by the disaster.
The Municipal Cleaning Company (Limusa) years ago trusted PIQUERSA machines for the city cleaning. The need for quick action allowed the company to move two units from Almeria to the affected area for a first cleaning of the main roads of the city.
PIQUERSA showed solidarity with the disaster in Lorca town and decided to act immediately to the distress call from Limusa. The assignment of two high capacity sweepers reinforced the municipal cleaning company for an initial cleaning action that allowed the clearing of the main roads, which in turn would be accessible to rescue and relief teams.
The models moved to the area were a dumper BA-2500-AG and BA-2300H sweeper, who along with other cleaning equipment, were working day and night to alleviate the damage. Open hopper model allowed the collection of large debris. These mechanical sweepers offer high capacity and easy maintenance, allowing Limusa’s personnel to use them intensively during all phases of cleaning to get back to the city the best aspect of normalcy as possible.
PIQUERSA’s Managers moved to Lorca in order to inquire about the city and to show solidarity. During the visit the managers, Limusa’s operators, distributor (Invermur Oriental, SL) and friends, thanked the support given by PIQUERSA to the difficult times following the worst natural disaster in Murcia.
